Astros Game

So, we went to the last Astros game of the season yesterday. It also happened to be Brad Ausmus's last game ever. It was a great day for baseball. It was a cool 84 degrees and the roof on Minute Maid Park was open. The beer tasted great and the hotdogs were awesome!

Hurricane Ike

Zoo Trip

This weekend we had a change in plans due to a crazy hurricane in the gulf. We were scheduled to go to Dallas, but we opted to stay and skip the traffic and the rain. So to make the best of it, we went to the zoo!! It was super hot, but we still had a good time! There were lots of cute baby animals out and a bunch that were sleeping that we didn't get to see.
